Questions before you let the Gator loose?

Do I need to replace my current mail server?

No. SpamGator is intended to sit in front of your existing mail system. After scanning and filtering the cleaned email messages are forwarded to the destination mail server you already use.

What changes are required to get started?

The main routing change is to update your domain’s MX records so inbound mail is directed through SpamGator. DNS propagation times vary, so the configuration can be quick even though full propagation may take longer.

Are there message limits?

There are per-message limits or other "hidden" fees or charges like other providers tend to charge, just the one "flat rate" monthly fee per domain.

Can individual users manage their own quarantine?

Yes. The service is designed to support individual user access to quarantine and personal whitelist/blacklist controls, while domain administrators retain broader management access.

Can I use SpamGator with Microsoft 365?

SpamGator can be positioned as an additional inbound filtering layer for organizations that want an extra layer of protection in front of Microsoft-hosted email.

What is included with the Reseller plan?

The Reseller package starts with three domains and is intended for MSPs and hosting providers that need multi-domain administration, API access and other advanced capabilities.

Do you guarantee that every spam message will be blocked?

No responsible filtering service can promise perfect detection in every situation. The reality is that no Spam filtering system or service can block 100% of Spam and other unwanted email without an unacceptable level of false positives (legitimate email incorrectly blocked as Spam). A 98% or so block rate will be about the most effective rate possible to ensure that no legitimate emails are blocked or quarantined and this is what we aim for with SpamGator.
